Love this place! Sign on the wall says they've been around since 1946 and I believe it. Counter seating, old diner tables and chairs. Love the atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. I enjoyed my #3 Specialty Sandwich, which was turkey breast, avocado, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and mayo on squaw bread, with a side of delicious potato salad. Onion rings were good too.

One of the premier spots in OC. Serive is quick and food is so so tasty. You have to try this place. It is not exactly traditional. The portions are huge, and for the right price. This place has its own style and I will always fond time to stop and eat here.
POP'S CAFE was amazing! We just moved to Santa Ana recently and I saw someone on Reddit recommend this as their favorite American breakfast place. Now, I can say that this is my new favorite breakfast place! The vibes are immaculate and the food is great. Prices can't be beat as well! I will definitely be coming back. We sat indoor and the diner vibe is perfect. Next time, I want to bring my dog and sit outside. It gets busy but the wait is not bad at all. We've had a great experience. Yum! Pancake was an authentic dinner type pancake. Soooo delicious. Service could improve by attentiveness, but other than that staff is very genuine and kind. Food came out quickly as well Will be returning.
